Burmese
The Burmese is a solidly built, affectionate breed originating from a single cat named Wong Mau, brought to the United States from Burma in 1930. Known for their silky, short coat and golden to yellow eyes, Burmese cats are often described as 'dog-like' in their loyalty and social behavior. They thrive on human interaction and are known to be playful well into adulthood.
