Japanese Bobtail

The Japanese Bobtail has been a part of Japanese culture for over a thousand years, famously depicted as the 'Maneki-neko' or beckoning cat symbol of good luck. Their distinctive pom-pom tail is caused by a recessive gene, and each cat's tail is unique, much like a fingerprint. These active, intelligent cats are known for carrying toys in their mouths and prefer interactive play with their human family members.
