Chinese Shar-Pei

The Chinese Shar-Pei is an ancient breed from China, known for the deep wrinkles covering their face and body as puppies and their hippopotamus-like muzzle. Once nearly extinct, they are now established worldwide as unique, devoted companions. Shar-Peis are calm and devoted with their family but tend to be aloof and independent with strangers.
