Wirehaired Pointing Griffon

The Wirehaired Pointing Griffon is a versatile gun dog developed in the late 1800s by Dutchman Eduard Korthals, intended to be the perfect hunter's dog. They have a distinctive harsh, wiry double coat that protects them in all types of terrain and weather. Griffons are nicknamed 'the supreme gun dog' for their ability to hunt, point, and retrieve with equal excellence.
