Irish Wolfhound
The Irish Wolfhound is the tallest dog breed in the world, capable of standing up to 90 cm at the shoulder. Bred in Ireland as a war dog and for hunting wolves and elk, these gentle giants have been described as 'a rough-coated Greyhound-like breed.' Despite their commanding presence, Irish Wolfhounds are sensitive, patient, and deeply devoted family companions.
