Tibetan Mastiff

The Tibetan Mastiff is one of the world's most ancient and primitive large breeds, descended from the mountain dogs of Tibet where they guarded villages, monasteries, and nomadic camps. They are massive, bear-like dogs covered in a thick, impressive double coat. Tibetan Mastiffs are independent, strong-willed guardians that are reserved with strangers.
