American Shorthair
The American Shorthair is a true working cat breed, descended from European cats brought to North America to protect cargo from rodents, and has been selectively bred in the US since the early 1900s. Known for their robust health, adaptability, and even temperament, they make excellent family pets for a wide range of households. Their short, dense coat requires minimal grooming and comes in over 80 recognized color and pattern combinations.
