French Bulldog
The French Bulldog is a compact, muscular dog with a smooth coat, snub nose, and large bat-like ears that give it an unmistakable appearance. Descended from English Bulldogs brought to France by lace workers in the 1800s, Frenchies have soared in popularity to become one of the top breeds globally. They are affectionate, low-energy companions that adapt well to apartment living, though their flat faces require owners to be mindful of heat and strenuous activity.

Feed measured portions of high-quality food to prevent obesity, which worsens breathing difficulties. Avoid feeding immediately before or after exercise. Choose formulas suited for small to medium breeds.
